ST. JOHN ALTAR GUILD

2007 Altar Guild Officers:

Treasurer        Phyllis Heimlich

 Altar Guild is a ministry whose purpose is to care for the worship space; pew appointments, acolyte robes, linens, paraments, candles, flowers, etc.

Meeting Times:

 Usually after church or on Wednesday evenings before Choir practice.

Associated Activities:

 The placement of flower vases each Sunday including special occasions such as Easter, Pentecost and Christmas when plants are used, to make and care for banners used in the sanctuary, to supply baptismal clothe, and to assist at weddings and funerals.

Growth Needs:

  Accepting additional members (man or woman) who have new ideas and talents.

Helpful Talents/Gifts Needed:

 No special talents or gifts needed.  Just your love of God and a desire to take care of his worship space!

 By joining the Altar Guild, it gives you a chance to show your gratitude to God by the giving of your time and talents.  This is a very special way to serve God and his house.
