Worship

The cornerstone, and perhaps the most visible practice of God's faithful children, is the weekly worship gathering. The regular meeting of believers to share in song, praise, prayer, Word and Sacrament is at the very foundation of the church life. It is here that Christian's are gathered in repentance, blessed with forgiveness, affirmed in grace, strengthened by the Spirit, and sent out in mission. How wonderful it is to praise God for all He is and all He does! We invite you and welcome you to participate in Worship at St. John’s Lutheran Church. We offer several worship opportunities:

Contemporary Worship Service with Holy Communion - Sunday, 8:15 am

Traditional Worship Service with Holy Communion - Sunday 10:30 am


Mid-Week Special Services

Advent

During the season of Advent (Sunday after Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve) is the time to prepare for Christ’s birth. Wednesday evening Advent service begins at 7:00 pm. The service is preceded by a free, light meal beginning at 5:45 pm. Come and worship as we wait for the precious gift of Jesus Christ.

Lent

The season of Lent (Ash Wednesday through Good Friday) marks the time of preparation for Easter. During Lent, Wednesday evening service is available at 7:00 pm. The service is preceded by a free, lite meal beginning at 5:45 pm. Come and worship as we prepare for the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  

Fully Handicap Accessible

At St. John we are called to minister to, and with, people of all kinds, and people of all abilities. Individuals who use wheelchairs and walkers have easy access to parking, worship areas and restrooms. All are welcome. We encourage everyone to participate to the full extent of their abilities in worship and in all ministry opportunities.
