CUSTODIAL CARE MINISTRY

 

The purpose of the Custodial Care Ministry is to keep the church building looking nice and clean by volunteering to help the custodial caretaker.

 

Meeting Times:

 Work is done in the church building as needed.

 

(The Custodial Caretaker is a paid position that is administered through Church Council of this congregation.)

 

Associated Activities:

 The main duties that are performed are:  mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting, arranging tables in fellowship hall when needed, plus all other general cleaning duties as needed.

 

Growth Needs:

 Extra help is welcomed to perform the following tasks:  clean out light fixtures in all rooms and in sanctuary along the sides, moving furniture when “deep cleaning” occurs (carpets & stripping wax from floors), and conditioning the wooden pews.

 

Helpful Talents/Gifts Needed:

 Any person who is a detailed cleaner and has good organizational skills will find their abilities extremely useful.
