Jr. Lutheran Sleepover
Children (grades 2 thru 6) who participate in Jr. Lutherans,
learn that living a Christian life is fun.
They learn:
· to outreach to the community;
· that giving gifts can be great fun and enjoy delivering gifts themselves;
· to be patient and thoughtful of others;
· to take turns and to help plan the year of fun activities.
· Sharing time together as a group helps to develop Christian friends and to get along as a community of believers.
Meeting Times:
We meet one Sunday afternoon each month from September through May and also one sleepover on a Friday evening either in the Fall or Spring.
Each meeting takes place in the fellowship hall beginning after the 10:30 worship service by eating a sack lunch and then concludes at approx. 1:30 pm.
Associated Activities:
Growing up in God’s love is taught through bible study, team building, outreach activities, service activities, and developing friendships with group members.
