"Peter Pan"

This choir ministry encourages Children through the ages of 12 years old to share their faith through song.  Each child learns to strengthen their faith through the following ways:

v Singing and understanding the song lyrics,

v Learning to musically match pitches when singing and how to read stanzas for hymns and songs,

v How to follow the liturgy during the worship service,

v And ways to praise the God who created us and continues to shower us with blessings.

Meeting Times:

They meet in the choir loft every Sunday from 9:10-9:30a.m. (after early service until the beginning of Sunday School – September through May).

This choir sings during the 10:30 service once a month (usually the third Sunday of the month).

Associated Activities :

Christmas caroling each year with the Senior Choir, recognizing the “birthday” of the “Note-able” choir, occasionally visiting shut-ins, singing for baptisms, and singing for worship services.

Growth Needs:

Add more voices!!  (Any child who can read to age 12)

We would like to have more older voices (9 – 12 yrs.)  so the choir can learn two part music.

Helpful Talents/Gifts Needed:

If you like to make a “joyful noise unto God” even if not musically gifted, then this ministry if for you!

Other helpful attributes are:  participation in worship services, attending practices regularly, and able to read words.

Why Should You Join This Group?

By joining the “Note-ables” you will learn how to be a witness for God through music, learn more about the church year, develop confidence in front of an audience, help the older members in the congregation relate to the youth, and to apply the words we sing to our everyday walk in life.
