Help Wanted:  Two new members are needed since two members are retiring. 

Read below to see if you are interested in serving on this team!

 

 The Stewardship Care Team identifies and introduces methods that will help lead the congregation in good financial practices and help the congregation to understand and support the mission of the church.  This team will also identify non-budgetary programs or projects worthy of support.

 

Meeting Times:

 Meeting times are set by this ministry team as needed.

 

 This ministry is administered through the Church Council of this congregation.

 

Associated Activities:

 $  Write the 5 39 Cause Of the Month column for the newsletter and plan stewardship education programs,

 $  Make recommendations concerning the availability of funds for    congregational expenses,

 $  Assist in the preparation of the annual budget proposal,

 $  Advise the treasurer in the investment of designated funds,

 $  Be available to count all worship service offerings on a rotating basis,

 $  Make bank deposits on a timely basis and provide treasurer with the bank receipts.

 

Growth Needs:

This team will need to add three new members each year as one-half of the members rotate off the team. (Term is 2 years, council appointed)

 

Helpful Talents/Gifts Needed:

  Individuals with financial background experience and an interest in applying their gifts to congregational missions are needed.
