Why You Should Join This Group?
♦ Do you enjoy administration and overseeing special projects, etc.? Then you should put your name on the ballot and run for a board position! The positions of Superintendent, Vice-Superintendent, Secretary and Treasurer are elected for a 1 year term on the 1st Sunday in June each year. Two people are elected during the November congregational meeting as member delegates and serve a 2 year term. This board is fun and great if you like to be on the “cutting edge” in ministry.
♦ Perhaps you are better at teaching, organizing events, or directing programs. Then you would enjoy the various opportunities available in: Vacation Bible School, the Christmas Program, or the classroom (teaching, playing the piano, or leading the singing for openings, etc.).
♦ Regardless which direction you wish to use your gifts (board member or one of the various other opportunities), you will feel great satisfaction in helping others to grow in their spiritual walk with the Lord.
♦ ♦ ♦ We need you and your willingness to serve!
