World Hunger Awareness

Every third Sunday of the month, we at St. John Windfall celebrate World Hunger Awareness by:

· Having a Bake Sale

Some members bake their best baked goods; other people “buy” those baked goods with a donation to World Hunger.

· Noisy Offering

During both worship services, a second offering of pocket change is collected for World Hunger.  It is the “Noisy Offering” since the coins clatter inside the tin collection cans during the offering time!

· Praying for the end of hunger and oppression in our world

Prayers are offered at each service for an end to terror, injustice, and hunger in our world.
