Board of Worship / Music plans and organizes inspirational worship services to fulfill the needs of all members of the congregation. 

[ This is a group of individuals that follow the above purpose and

not an elected “board”.  All ages welcome to participate. ]

Meeting Times:

 Last Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm or as needed.

Associated Activities:

ÿ Count world hunger offering on the 3^rd Sunday of each month.

ÿ Plan services for special occasions or events (Advent, Lent, Easter, Christmas, Reformation, Thanksgiving, 9/11).

ÿ Set up for Christmas Eve (aisle candles and luminaries).

 ÿ Pick hymns and songs for worship services and arrange for instrumental (organ, piano, guitar, drums, brass, etc.) music to be available at all services.

Growth Needs:

     ÿ Creative ideas to enhance worship services and events.

     ÿ Provide opportunities to support missions to those in need

              (ex: noisy offering and bake sale that benefit World Hunger).

    ÿ  Adding instruments and/or vocals to services.

    ÿ Add video capabilities to services.

Helpful Talents/Gifts Needed:

 Anyone with ideas to touch God’s people through worship.  We need people who can think “outside the box”!

Why Should you Join This Group?

 “Because we are fun!  We get soaked putting out luminaries, we have wrinkled hands cleaning up candle wax, we play with electricity in the rain, we inhale helium filling up balloons and then talk funny!  So join us and see another side of St. John Windfall!
